Sunday we spent a delightful day with new friends and old, at Wildcraft Fiber Farm and The Crowded Acre. Thank you Jen and Jane for hosting us, your farms and animals are amazing! The cutest sheep and goats in the universe. Moo and her babies are so happy in their new home. Thank you Goosey.
Please tell this city girl why the sheep are wearing coats….
I asked Jane the same thing, Sarah, except I also asked if they get hot, which was kind of silly thinking how they are used to such heavy wool! haha! She shears the wool and cards it, and spins and dyes the luxurious yarn. She said keeping coats on them protects the wool from plant fibers and sticks… which are difficult to get out of the wool. They were the cutest things we had ever seen!
Yay for happy goats and a great get together!! Thank you for the transfer, Jamie!!
We missed you though. 🙂
Natanielle is such a beauty!
She gets her looks from her dad. 😉
Ha! Don’t be silly…he would never look that darling in a prom dress… 😉
haha! fair enough. Did I ever show you my picture in a prom dress? Please reference sheep picture #2 above.
Ha! I almost fell on the floor laughing. Too funny!…I am still giggling about it…
