Thinking about bygone Mother’s Days, staying up nights making arrangements for clients, and being greeted in the morning with my usual Mother’s day present: a vente latte from Starbucks. I’m so grateful and proud of all our dear Cebolla family who has worked around the clock for many days to make so many happy. While I do miss flowers and friends… thinking of these arrangements I used to make, makes me happy to go muck out the barn.
I do hope you were showered with flowers today. Happy Mother’s Day to all two and four footed beasts.
Really, really beautiful Jamie!
Thank you, it was fun for a long time. A parallel universe to be sure. 😉
Being away from the business now…far, far away…I always feel a little guilty around these holidays and prom! and homecoming!! Just knowing what the support staff and designers are going through and, yet, I am able to go to sleep on time…I’m not freezing from being in the cooler all day. My hands aren’t green and wrinkled from processing all day…I am not dealing with customers who want everything perfect!! really, really perfect!! (understandable but hard to do) or customers who want the impossible and Luit promises it to them! :):) (oh well, It usually works out:)) However, I don’t get to see the fantastically lovely designs…smell the incredible fragrance of peonies, roses and hyacinth all day…wow people to tears and have that incredible sense of accomplishment when it is all finally over. 🙂 All of it an adventure…just like what you are doing now…I wouldn’t trade those days for anything…but, sort of glad I’m not there! :):) Because of that Beaufiful Lass of yours, Mothers Day will always remind me of being blessed beyond belief! Happy Mother’s Day… a little late. :):) Love and hugs!! xoxoxo
Oh you are the dearest, in every way. xoxo
Those flower arrangements are beautiful Jamie!! but I agree with you..manure is more fun!
Haha! I’m not sure about fun, but I hope my milkman does hurry back (and clean out the barn!) He is certainly ready for some manure instead of flowers for a while.
