I can’t even begin to describe the overwhelming beauty, skill and majesty of the photographs we saw last night at our dear friend’s, Allan and Francie Ivy’s gallery Open Your Eyes, on main street in Gunnison.
Here is a sneak peek of some of the gallery, and you must see the works in person to really appreciate it. Oh so much fun!
There is a cozy balcony with a running slideshow of more of their work.
And the second floor houses an amazing set up for the finest portraits for family, bridal… and an area where Allan conducts private and group photography and technical lessons. The other section is filled with state of the art massive printers and other equipment where they can print all sizes of artwork, even restoring and reproducing your own photographs that they will print on canvas or fine papers… Their rates are shockingly reasonable, and the quality unsurpassed.
The variety of exquisite work will change often, and some of these are their photos of Africa and England.
People have been in such anticipation for the Grand Opening to arrive, and they kept pouring in all evening.
There are other works of art, jewelry… available made by local artists, including their talented daughter Natasha.
Folk band Free the Honey delighted everyone with their music.
A most memorable event with the most amazing people on the planet.
Please tell everyone you know who lives in or visits the Gunnison Crested Butte area to stop in the gallery and purchase a glorious piece of art, or to have Allan and Francie photograph your property, animals, family, wedding/event, or to have them turn your own photographs into fine artwork.
Worldwide shipping available, but certainly worth a trip to Gunnison to see the beauty for yourself.
Enjoyed seeing this again. Received the box from you tonight – will write you tomorrow. It may be a few days before it gets mailed, though, as we are expecting a bad blizzard for the next two days! You are so precious to send the gift!!!
Love, Callie

Loved seeing this! Maybe I’ll get up there someday!
Oh Callie, that would be wonderful! 🙂
